The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer puts a unique new spin on a classic Chevy name badge. The Blazer was originally built a platform providing a tall ride height, wide stance, and capable powertrain, making it a favorite among off-road enthusiasts. The latest version of the Blazer includes all those must-haves in a revamped package, all while including some of the latest technologies on the market and a distinctive sense of style. With commanding looks and intelligent features, the new Blazer is bound to impress a wide audience when it arrives.
According to The News Wheel, the 2019 Blazer will come with a base 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that generates 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. There’s also an available 3.6-liter V6 with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission, and the V6 engine enables the Blazer to tow up to 4,500 pounds.
“The Blazer has attitude,” said John Cafaro, executive director of Global Chevrolet Design. “It looks commanding on the road, while fulfilling the promise of versatility at the heart of every Chevy crossover and SUV.”
The exterior design of the Blazer will take your breath away. There are sleek headlights with prominent fog lighting, providing and aggressive yet contemporary feel. Bright colors are available to suit a range of personalities, while the smooth contours imply motion even while the Blazer is at rest. Plus, with Chevy badging and a prominent grille and front fascia, the Blazer will not go unnoticed.
